NJCAA Region 24 Championships

The Blue Angels were locked in for the task in front of them. The Lake Land Larkers were the clear favorites for the team title and Parkland was in the hunt for one of the top spots. The Angels would need a team effort and maybe some magic to take a run at the top. The Ladies put together the effort, but there was no magic to be found. The Lady Larkers capture the top spot, while the Angels of Blue held off a charge from Parkland in very competitive race! This was one of better Region 24 matches of the last few years and the hilly/rolling hills of Prides Creek Park in Petersburg, IN added to the drama. Angels Gracie Morgan and Rylee Brammeier captured the 4th and 5th spots as these two continue to feed off each other with both crossing the finish line in times of 22:20 and 22:20.1. Kyndall Sturgeon just totally continues to get back that racing mojo and was a soild 3rd for the team and 8th overall. Alli Lammers hammered down the 4th counter for the team and Ryann Becker was the 5th counter. Ivy Donoho after a slow start climbed back into the 6th team spot and Lucy Walters was the 7th finisher for the team. Some are hill runners, some are not. Some hate hills, a very few love hills. The Blue Angels took what was presented to them and relished the challenge and made us proud. Excited to annouce that Morgan and Brammeier earned NJCAA All Region 24 honors. Its been a few years since we have had two Blue Angels earn the honor in the same year.
