The Blue Angels laced it up and went to battle at the Heartland Hawks Invite. The battlefield was located at Maxwell Park in Normal, IL. The field consisted of Heartland, Lake Land, Danville, Parkland, Mineral Area, Carl Sandbert, Sauk Valley, Illinois Valley, and Illinois Wesleyan Universtiy. When the final numbers were tabualted the Angels finished in 3rd place behind Lake Land and Mineral Area. The top five for the Blue Angels were Gracie Morgan and Rylee Brammeier in times of 21:19 and 21:23 which were good for 9th and 10th overall. Alli Lammers was the 3rd counter in a time of 22:04 good for 15th place. Kyndall Sturgeon was next in a time of 22:24 with Ryann Becker the 5th counter in a time of 22:46. Ivy Donoho was next with a time of 23:06. The 7th spot for KC was taken by Tessa Drueke in a time of 24:27. Lucy Walters just back from injury cross the line in 24:48 and Cora Hill (recovering for illness) in a time of 26:28. The 1-5 spread of 1 minute and 26 seconds was best of all of the teams. The average time for the 1-5 was 21 minutes and 59 seconds.
