Blue Angels Have Best Team Race of the Season

Blue Angels sporting the pink

Well, well well! Now that is a deep subject. The Blue Angels are a deep subject for sure. The Ladies and the Men were wearing the pink singlets to bring awareness to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We love doing this and we understand the importance and we hope by wearing the pink that we can help in some small way! This was by far the best team race of the season for the Angels. Since this was our last regular season meet, good jump start into post season. As a team for our one through five we finally broke into the 22 minute average. With Kyndall Sturgeon finishing seventh overall with personal best time of 21:01 (darn  2 seconds). Kyndall's time put her on the KC Top Ten All Time list for the 5K distance. Moving on Raelyn Dearing had personal best as well and finished in tenth. Miss Ryann Becker was tough as nails and finished 13/17. A solid trio of Sturgeon, Dearing, and Becker................but without that four and five, you "ain't" no team. The Blue Angels had what was needed in Reagan Cross and Ivy Donoho. Cross crossed the finish line with her best time of the season and Donoho continues to give a great effort every race. Aubrey Fernandez continues to improve and had good strong finish. Simone Liefer was the next Blue Angel to finish. The Angels finished third behind Greenville and Joliet College (Nationally Ranked). The one to five average was 22:40, this is moving us in the right direction, we have two races to improve. As a group of very different individuals, all very busy, with school, work, and atheltics, this group is supporting each other.
